P3030001 First Choice Travel operated the short lived service 6A which operated from August 2004 to May 2005. P3030004 Morleys of Whittlesey have operated between Peterborough and Whittlesey for many decades and are well-known to enthusiasts due to their elderly fleet. A typical vehicle is this ex-London Titan on the 0720 departure from Queensgate. P3030005 Emblings are only to be found in Peterborough on contract services, such as the Wisbech Isle College contract, although the reason for this vehicle's early morning appearance at 0730 is unknown. P3030008 May 2004 saw an overnight revolution to Kime's Peterborough - Stamford service, being renumbered and extended to Oakham. Brand new DAF low-floor buses in this new livery replaced assorted second-hand buses in green and cream. P3030045 Operator of the Peterborough - Uppingham service since May 2004 has been Paul James Coaches of Hugglescote near Coalville. P3080048 Delaine runs a half-hourly service between Peterborough and its home town of Bourne. It's pristine front line fleet consists mainly of double deckers bought new, including several Volvo B7TL with East Lancashire bodywork. This one is numbered 135 (Y8 OCT). P3080052 Another view of Paul James S20 PJC on the Uppingham service, having arrived on the first journey of the day. Numbered after the A47 road, this service and its predecessors have seen several different operators since being started by Eastern Counties (as a through service to Leicester) in the early 1980's. P3080054 One of 23 Peterborough-based Volvo Olympians transferred from the Stagecoach London fleet, this Northern Counties bodied example is seen on school service 710 to John Fisher School. P3080057 Some of the Olympians from London have Alexander bodies, such as 16130 seen here having arrived on the 0715 journey from Huntingdon. P3190126 Peterborough City Council bought three of these Rohill bodied Renault Masters in 2003 for the NewEye Flyer and Locallink services. Until May 2005 they were operated by Cavalier Travel on behalf of the Council. P3190127 First's X1 service to Norwich and Lowestoft produces a variety of coaches since going half-hourly from August 2004. P3190128 Another ex London Northern Counties bodied Olympian is seen on the cross-town service 12 from Market Deeping to Hampton. P3190135 A surprising vehicle for Shaws of Maxey is this Optare Excel, new to Trent where it appeared in the Rainbow livery for service 5. P3190136 As in the previous photo, Shaw's ex Trent Optare Excel is seen on the 1335 Saturday departure to Maxey. P3190137 This Stagecoach Alexander bodied Olympian is another one formerly in the London fleet. The 1335 departure on service 42 is the only one to extend to Southwick. P3190140 Delaine 118 is one of several East Lancs bodied Volvo Olympians bought new by Delaine. These older vehicles are often to be found on the Peterborough - Stamford service. P3190142 This Alexander bodied Olympian has been at Peterborough since new, seen here on the 1340 departure to Huntingdon. P3190143 This Plaxton bodied Dart on Cavalier Travel's March service was formerly with Travel Dundee. P3190145 Delaine's 118 and First's 20126 seen together at Queensgate. P3260147 More usually a Dart service, Cavalier's 337 occasionally produces one of these Marshall bodied Mercedes 814D. P3300149 Seen at Coningsby Road (with the Thomas Cook lunchtime contract bus behind) is Shaw's Scania single decker from the Wednesday 306 service to Peakirk. This unusual visit was apparently to exchange a fare box with the driver of the contract bus.
